Cupping is an ancient Chinese healing technique dating back 2,500 years; it is a treatment related to acupuncture. The treatment involves placing a glass cup containing heated air against the skin, creating a vacuum effect. After this happens, it is placed on the skin, the suction produced by the vacuum pulls the skin and muscle up inside the cup, as a result the small veins under the skin will enlarge, and more blood will circulate towards the affected area for the purpose of healing.
Cupping is used for the common cold, cough, flu, headaches, lower back pain, rheumatism, bursitis, tendon tightness, and muscular tension.
Ear Coning alleviates the pain and pressure associated with sinusitis, earaches, swimmer’s ear, allergies, middle ear infections and hearing difficulties. A cone is gently placed at the ear canal opening and lit on the opposite end to create a slow vacuum. With no discomfort, excess ear wax and toxins are removed, helping relieve pressure, wax buildup and inner ear blockage. Healthier sinuses and overall ear health is noticeable.
Magnetic Therapy is the use of magnets on acupuncture points to correct the blood flow, increase circulation and release the blockages of energy or (chi) in the body. Some people actually respond better to Magnetic Therapy than acupuncture itself. Magnetic Therapy has been medically proven to be effective in the relief of many painful conditions, the health benefits are plentiful.
Reiki is an ancient healing art, which is being recognized by the medical field worldwide. It involves a very gentle, non-invasive hands-on technique. Reiki is used to bring the physical, emotional and mental levels into balance thus allowing the body to heal naturally. Additionally, it helps to relieve stress and pain, as well as various other aliments. Clients often feel relaxed and have a renewed sense of well being after a session.
Shiatsu is an Oriental form of healing that was developed in Japan and literally means finger pressure. It is also referred to as acupressure. The healing principles of Shiatsu are based in Traditional Chinese Medicine; the physical body is seen as a body of energy (Chi). A smooth and balanced flow of Qi is necessary for good health. When the Qi is blocked or out of balance, the body can experience various conditions of discomfort or disease. Shiatsu helps release these blockages and rebalance the flow of Qi, which stimulates the body’s natural healing ability.
Tong Ren Distant Healing is a method of healing that was developed by Tom Tam, which is a part of Chi Gong healing. It differs slightly and seems to be mysterious and unbelievable until one experiences it for themselves. The philosophy was developed from the Karl Jung’s collective unconscious philosophy and Chi Gong. A Tong Ren acupuncture doll is used and stimulated by a magnetic hammer on the specific acupuncture points to facilitate healing. This form of treatment can either be administered in person or long distance via telephone.
Tui Na is an ancient healing art of Traditional Medicine, which has been practiced in China for over four thousand years. Basically it is considered a medical massage. It is a combination of massage, acupressure and other forms of body manipulation that works by applying pressure to acupoints, meridians and groups of muscles and or nerves in order to remove blockages that prevents the free flow of qi.
